Ribeirão Bonito is nowadays a town with own municipality since 1906, located ca 270 km northwest from São Paulo. Formerly a Brotas district, it became a Villa in 1890, after the postal agency was installed. This took place by the end of 1886, according to this press note:
A single imperial cancel is known. RSP-1080a (Coll. José A. Junges) presents a double circle with the inscription RIBEIRÃO BONITO above and a small four clover leaf below, which often resembles a black dot. Found in stamps cancelled between 1887 and 1896.
Heutzutage ist Ribeirão Bonito ein Städtchen mit eigener Gemeindeverwaltung seit 1906, etwa 270 km nordwestlich von São Paulo gelegen. Ursprünglich ein Distrikt von Brotas, wurde Ribeirão Bonito eine Villa in 1890, nach der Einrichtung des Postamtes. Letztere fand Ende 1886 statt, wie aus der Presse hervorgeht:

Ein einziger Stempel aus der Kaiserzeit ist bekannt. RSP-1080a (Samml. José A. Junges) zeigt einen Doppelkreis mit der Inschrift RIBEIRÃO BONITO (oben) und einem kleinen vierblättrigen Kleeblatt (unten), das meistens wie ein schwarzer Punkt aussieht. Gefunden auf zwischen 1886 und 1896 abgestempelten Marken.
